I love photography. I take way too many photos and I am lucky enough to be surrounded by photography every day at my job. I interpret for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in photography classes at a local college and I love it!
In our journey becoming "lighthouse lovers" we have taken many photos of the lighthouses we have visited and established this blog to share those photos with all of you. However, there are still hundreds of lighthouses we have not seen in the United States and thousands we have not seen all over the world. We spend some time (ok, a lot of time) looking up lighthouses that we would love to visit and at times I get caught up looking at the beautiful photographs.
One night while researching lighthouses, I stumbled across a flickr group called "Lighthouse Lovers". This group is AMAZING! There are over 60,000 photographs of lighthouses around the world shared by other lighthouse lovers. While some are average photos, there are some absolutely stunning photographs shared by the members of this group.
Take a look at it and let me know what you think!
Awesome photographs...very inspiring...especially now that I have a new camera. Can't wait until I have time to check out more of the photos on this site as it is always nice to get fresh ideas when I head out with my camera in hand!!
